            Please help us welcome our newest associate, Ms. Shannon S. Sheldon. Shannon has recently joined the North Carolina bar, after having been admitted and practicing in both California and Hawaii. 

            The “Rountree” practice in Wilmington , North Carolina began in the late 1890’s, when Mr. Rountree’s grandfather, Judge George Rountree, moved to Wilmington from Richmond , Virginia .  Mr. Rountree’s father, George Rountree, Jr., began practicing with Judge Rountree in 1928, having graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School .  Mr. Rountree’s grandmother, Meta Davis Rountree, was a daughter of George Davis, the last Attorney General of the Confederacy, who practiced law in Wilmington from 1842 until shortly before his death in 1896.

            Rountree, Losee & Baldwin, L.L.P. continues its admiralty and maritime, litigation, and commercial transaction practice at 2419 Market Street , Wilmington , North Carolina.
